had an epic-ly awesome day, got up super early (not early enough ><) and left for NIDA. got there just on time, and that place is big :D (well its bigger than the place we normally have our concerts at.) theres like 6 dressing rooms and the stage is pretty big! :D had a rehearsal, then got all make up and hair done, and got into costume. it was pretty hectic trying to get my hair down and then back into a bun again, because of the order - tap, ballet, jazz, ballet. and i had to take my hair out for tap and jazz :L
some of the costumes were amazing, absolutely loved my red tutu! ^^ and i had this moment when i was watching one of the girls from my group do her solo on stage with dim lights and no music - it reminded me of black swan :O she would be a great black swan. and for some reason when i was onstage, i had this feeling and i would have loved to have captured the moment with a photo. i could see the lights shining down, and the red tutus standing out, and it just felt.. like a real ballet. :) not sure how else to describe it xD
had heaps of fun, met heaps of awesome people this week! :D don't know if i'll ever see them again. :( learnt some cool stuff that i might be able to use again in the near future :D thanks everyone! :)
