just so you know, no one fell of a cliff (though someone nearly did), no one got hurt (except scratches LOL) and we didn't get hit by lightning whilst it was storming in the blue mountains though we did get pretty wet from the rain.
im truly finding it hard to find the words to describe the entire two days, because there was just so much and it would take me two days to write about it, providing that i remember haha :)
but, a group of yr 9's and iverach set off on a two day journey two days ago, at this time in the morning, down a track that would eventually lead to our destination :) we met no leeches! creek crossings (some of them being quite dangerously slippery with people slipping over), many many mountains which we all conquered, rain, sheltered under a rock during the thunderstorm and got scared out of our wits, slept in tents as it rained outside, pushed and crashed our way through so many branches i can recognize them now, relaxed on a beach, walked across a railway track (which was fun 8D and scary cos a train came by as the first group all finished crossing) and pretty much had a whole heap of fun. :D i will remember the random word games we played as we walked cos we were bored, the dodgiest phone calls at night cos we could hear the person on the other end talking without the phone, the science lesson we had whilst we were under the rock LOL, the many tiring mountains we climbed up and down, the many, many conversations i had with many, many people :)) and the fact that we were all exhausted from walking and couldn't tell if we were soaked in rain or sweat LOL. AND I WILL NEVER FORGET FREDDIE :'( even though the original got replaced twice cos my stick snapped :( but freddie no.3 was the best :D cos it didn't snap! LOL. but yeah, freddie saved me from falling in some dangerous places quite a few times :))
also, thank you mr iverach for coming with us! we would've gotten lost if you hadn't been there in certain situations, and we might not have gotten across the train line safely :) and we're glad you liked the coffee :DD
and one last thing; i'll just say that it was truly one hell of an experience that was amazing, and its something that can't really be explained because you had to be there yourself. :) im quite glad i went :)) and for now, im sick of crashing through branches that like to crash into your face :P incredibly proud of us all ♥
